Netflix Says WWE Pulled Nearly 149 Million Views in Just Six Months

Eighteen months into the Netflix era, WWE just got its report card, and the numbers are enormous. Netflix’s latest bi-annual What We Watched report shows WWE programming drew nearly 149 million global views and more than 327 million hours viewed between January and June 2026, per POST Wrestling.

The report covered 252 separate WWE entries, spanning Raw, SmackDown and NXT outside the United States, plus premium live events. And one show did most of the lifting: Raw accounted for the top 16 WWE entries and 22 of the top 25, with the January 5 and April 20 episodes tied as the most-watched WWE programming of the half at 3.7 million views each, per PWMania.

The Rumble Rules the PLEs

Only three non-Raw entries cracked WWE’s top 25, and they tell a story of their own. Royal Rumble led all premium live events with 3.1 million views, followed by WrestleMania 42 Sunday at 3.0 million. Further down the list, WrestleMania Saturday drew 2.7 million, Elimination Chamber 1.9 million, Clash in Italy 1.6 million, Backlash 1.4 million, and Night of Champions 1.0 million.

One important caveat makes these numbers even more impressive: they don’t include the United States at all, since WWE’s premium live events have aired on ESPN domestically throughout 2026. This is purely WWE’s international audience.

Unreal Numbers for Unreal

The third non-Raw entry in the top 25 is the one with perfect timing. WWE: Unreal Season 2, the behind-the-curtain docuseries, pulled 2.8 million views and 13.4 million hours viewed, ranking No. 24 among all Netflix content for the period and outdrawing every premium live event except the Rumble and WrestleMania Sunday. Not bad for five episodes of producers’ meetings.

That’s a very healthy runway for WWE: Unreal Season 3, which premieres this Tuesday, July 21 and follows John Cena’s farewell run and AJ Lee’s return. The Stunner broke down the Season 3 trailer when it dropped earlier this month, and you can watch it below.

The Bigger Picture

For context, Netflix’s overall most-watched title in the half was the limited series His & Hers at 104 million views, so WWE isn’t topping the whole platform. But as a live weekly engine delivering 149 million views in six months outside the US alone, wrestling has become exactly what Netflix paid for: appointment television that never takes a week off.
