Bianca Belair and Montez Ford Welcome Their Son, Romeo Leonardo Allen Crawford

Bianca Belair and Montez Ford are parents. The couple announced Tuesday that they’ve welcomed a son, Romeo Leonardo Allen Crawford, four months after Belair’s now-famous WrestleMania 42 reveal that she was expecting.

It’s the first child for Belair. Ford has two children from a previous relationship, and the couple has been married since 2018.

The WrestleMania Announcement

Belair had been out of action since WrestleMania 41 with a serious hand injury, fracturing her ring finger in three places, including the knuckle joint, during a Triple Threat with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. She underwent surgery and largely stayed off WWE television for a year, aside from a turn as special guest referee at WWE Evolution.

Then came WrestleMania 42. Belair walked out during a segment with John Cena, told the crowd “it ain’t WrestleMania without a few surprises,” and revealed her baby bump live, shocking a stadium full of fans who had no idea it was coming.

On her own vlog, Belair later explained just how last-minute the plan was. She’d texted Triple H about the idea, gone quiet for days worrying it was a no, and nearly settled on announcing it privately on her birthday instead before he texted back approval. “Finally, we were talking and I said, ‘Let’s do WrestleMania. What about me coming out first thing, with my bump, and opening WrestleMania,'” she said. Ford added that the timeline meant “we have to keep hiding her for another four weeks” between the green light and the show itself.

Motherhood Was Always the Bigger Question

The pregnancy reveal landed as such a surprise partly because Belair and Ford had spent years publicly wrestling with the decision. Their Hulu reality series, Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez, built entire episodes around the couple weighing when, or whether, to start a family while both were near the peak of their in-ring careers. Belair repeatedly returned to the same tension on camera: wanting to be a mom, while worrying about what stepping away, even briefly, could cost her professionally in a sport where championship windows don’t wait around.

A finger injury that sidelined her for a year ended up reframing that entire question. By the time she got pregnant, Belair has said the timing, however it happened, gave her the one thing the show always circled back to: a real answer, instead of an endless hypothetical.

The Wrestling World Already Loves This Kid

Wrestlers didn’t wait for the birth to start celebrating. When Belair made her WrestleMania 42 announcement, the reactions came in fast. Rhea Ripley wrote, “Congratulations @BiancaBelairWWE & @MontezFordWWE selfishly I don’t wanna lose you for another year… but this is also the sweetest most heart warming news ever!!” IYO SKY posted, “I miss you @BiancaBelairWWE, but I’m so happy!!!!” Liv Morgan commented that she was “gonna be an auntie,” and Chelsea Green, Jade Cargill, Natalya, Zelina Vega, and Angelo Dawkins all added their own congratulations in the days that followed.

Now that Romeo has actually arrived, expect a fresh round of the same from a locker room that’s clearly been counting down right alongside them. Congratulations to Bianca, Montez, and the newest member of the family.
