“Cream of the crop” now comes in sizes 5 through 16.
Ewing Athletics announced a new sneaker inspired by “Macho Man” Randy Savage, the latest release in the brand’s Legends Of The Ring collection under its ongoing Hobby Series. The shoe drops Friday, September 25, at 9 a.m. ET, exclusively at EwingAthletics.com.

The Details That Make It Work
The sneaker’s multi-color leather upper is built around Savage‘s bandana, and it comes with removable velcro sunglasses attached to the strap, with the World Champ’s nickname stitched into the heels. The sunglasses double as a velcro patch, so they can come off the shoe entirely and go on a backpack or jacket instead.
This isn’t Ewing Athletics‘ first trip into wrestling nostalgia. The brand previously released a Ric Flair-inspired sneaker as part of the same collection, so the Savage shoe continues a pattern of turning the company’s Legends Of The Ring line into a running tribute to some of wrestling’s biggest characters.
No word yet on price, but given the collectible-sneaker market these tend to sell out fast once they go live.
