Every so often, a wrestling show’s most dangerous performer isn’t on the card. On July 3, that was the case in Los Angeles, where House of the Dragon actress Abigail Thorn showed up to host a wrestling show and left having thrown one of the moves of the night.
The occasion was the debut event for T4T Wrestling, a new promotion built around trans, nonbinary, and queer performers, and it sold out.
The Special Guest Hostess Wasn’t Just Watching
Thorn was booked as the Special Guest Hostess for the night, a role that, on paper, meant introductions and crowd work. Instead, at one point in the show, she grabbed a steel chair from ringside, slid it under the ropes, climbed in after it herself, and used it on one of the competitors, sending the sold-out crowd into a frenzy.

It’s the kind of spot indie wrestling has always thrived on: a surprise, a crowd that’s fully in on it, and a guest star willing to bump the script for a bigger reaction. T4T Wrestling clearly got the reaction it wanted.
What T4T Wrestling Is Building
T4T Wrestling, led by Kidd Bandit, is the successor to T Boy Wrestling, which shut down after allegations of financial malfeasance involving one of that promotion’s co-founders. The new group’s debut was framed as a fresh start. In a statement posted to social media after the show, the promotion wrote that “a group of plucky underdogs took on this massive undertaking and it turned into a celebration of athleticism, empowerment, camaraderie and queer joy,” adding that the night was a sold-out success with “whats next” still to come.
That description lines up with how the crowd showed up. Reporting on the event noted the room was packed with supporters of the LGBTQ+ community there to back a promotion built in their image.
Who Is Abigail Thorn?
For anyone who only knows the name from a cast list, Thorn is a 33-year-old actress, YouTuber, and playwright best known for creating Philosophy Tube, and for roles in Star Wars: The Acolyte and the video game Baldur’s Gate III. Her highest-profile credit is House of the Dragon, where she plays Triarchy fleet commander Admiral Sharako Lohar. She’s also a public advocate for the transgender community, which made her presence at T4T’s debut, and her willingness to throw a chair for the cause, land as more than a novelty booking.
Congratulations to T4T Wrestling on the sold-out start. If the first show is any indication, this is one to keep an eye on.
