Sometimes the best surprises come gift-wrapped as something else entirely. On June 24, Jersey Shore star Jenni “JWoww” Farley invited 50 of her closest friends and family to what they believed was a private screening of her upcoming film, Nanny Cam. Themed invitations went out. Red-carpet signage went up. The venue, Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey, was dressed for a premiere.
Then Jenni and her fiancé, pro wrestler Zack Clayton, walked in and said “I do.”
The whole thing was a five-months-in-the-making fake-out, and it worked perfectly. “Seeing our family and friends go from thinking they’re attending a special screening for Nanny Cam to realizing they’re actually at our wedding will be a moment we’ll never forget,” the couple told People, who had the exclusive.
A Bond Villain and a Lana Del Rey Tribute Walk Into a Fake Movie Premiere
The music choices alone told the whole story. Zack made his entrance to “The Name’s Bond… James Bond” — David Arnold‘s iconic theme from Casino Royale. Jenni walked down the aisle to Lana Del Rey‘s Young and Beautiful, a deliberate tribute to her best friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who danced to the same song at her own wedding to Jionni LaValle years earlier.
The venue carried a “modern Beauty and the Beast fairytale with a dark romance twist” theme — deep ruby reds, rose gold accents, abundant candles and roses. The wedding cake, from local bakery Confections of a Rockstar, was draped in red roses to match. Jenni‘s mermaid-cut gown, sourced from New Jersey boutique Castle Couture Bridal, was designed to be, in her words, “romantic, timeless, and worthy of a modern fairytale.”
Ruby wasn’t just an aesthetic choice. It’s the birthstone of Jenni‘s daughter Meilani, so Zack gifted her a ruby ring on the day — and got her son Greyson a soccer-themed present — making it clear that the wedding was about the whole family. “This wedding is about our family, not just the two of us,” the couple said. “We wanted the day to celebrate not only our love story, but also the family we’ve built together over the last seven years.”
The Wrestler Behind the Groom
For the WWE and AEW fans in the crowd, Zack Clayton (real name Zack Carpinello) is a familiar name. The 31-year-old from Bethlehem, New York, has worked the full circuit — he appeared regularly on AEW Dark, Dark: Elevation, and Rampage, then moved through Ring of Honor, TNA and ACW, where he became part of the Full Blooded Italians faction in 2024. He continues to work the independent scene alongside his television work.
Jenni and Zack first got together in 2019, two years after her divorce from ex-husband Roger Mathews was finalized. He proposed on the top of the Empire State Building on her 36th birthday — February 27, 2021 — and the couple spent five years engaged before deciding the time was right. They picked June 24 intentionally: it falls squarely between Zack‘s December 21 birthday and Jenni‘s February 27, a date that belongs to both of them.
The Shore Family Was (Mostly) in the Dark
Snooki, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, and Deena Nicole Buckner were among the 50 guests. They had no idea what was actually happening until the vows started. Snooki shared her reaction on Instagram: “I love a good surprise and i love her and so happy but so mad i didn’t know. My beautiful queen i am so happy for you that you found the best love with @zackclayton.”
That’s the Jersey Shore friendship right there — thrilled and annoyed in the same breath.
After the ceremony, the couple will honeymoon in Italy and Switzerland, before returning home to what they describe as “more family adventures, continued growth together, and creating a lifetime of memories.” Fans can see Jenni and the rest of the Jersey Shore family on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 9 — currently airing Thursdays on MTV and confirmed to be the show’s final season.
Congratulations to the happy couple.
