Remembering the Cult Classic
Of course, this isn’t the first time Street Fighter has been adapted for the big screen. Many of us remember the 1994 cult classic Street Fighter movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as Guile and the legendary Raul Julia as M. Bison. While that movie has its flaws, it holds a special place in the hearts of many fans for its sheer campiness and memorable performances. It will be interesting to see how this new reboot, with its powerhouse cast, compares to that iconic adaptation.
The casting of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns has definitely injected a new level of excitement into this Street Fighter project. As more details and official looks are released, you can be sure we’ll be here to break it all down.
