The OTC, Roman Reigns, is making headlines both in and out of the ring. After a long wait and some frustrating delays, sneakerheads and wrestling fans can finally mark their calendars. The highly anticipated Roman Reigns-inspired Air Jordan 12 Retro “Bloodline” sneakers are officially scheduled for release in the summer of 2026.

Originally rumored for a 2025 drop, the release was pushed back, but the new 2026 date seems firm. The design is expected to feature a black and red colorway, a classic combination that pays homage to the iconic “Bloodline” faction that Reigns led. This is a must have for any fan of the Tribal Chief and a significant nod from the Jordan brand to the massive cultural impact Reigns has had.

While fans were buzzing about the sneaker news, Roman Reigns gave them something more immediate to talk about. On the July 14th episode of Monday Night Raw, Reigns made a shocking return to WWE programming. During the show’s closing segment, which saw Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed brutally attacking Reigns’ cousin, Jey Uso, the familiar music of the Head of the Table hit, and the crowd erupted.

Reigns stormed the ring, delivering a Superman Punch to Reed and a thunderous Spear to Breakker, clearing the ring and saving his cousin. The show went off the air with Reigns and Uso standing tall, leaving the WWE Universe with a multitude of questions. This sets up a few  possibilities for the near future. We could be looking at a blockbuster tag team match, pitting Roman Reigns and Jey Uso against the powerhouse duo of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Another, and perhaps more exciting, possibility is a singles match between Reigns and Breakker, a true battle of generations and a clash of devastating spears. Whatever comes next, one thing is for sure: the Tribal Chief is back, and business has just picked up.
