Big news dropped this morning that is going to shake up the wrestling landscape. TNA Wrestling is officially moving its flagship show, Thursday Night Impact!, to a new cable home. Beginning in January 2026, you will be able to catch all the action exclusively on AMC Network.

This is a massive upgrade for the promotion as they move from AXS TV to the AMC portfolio. The new era kicks off on January 15, 2026, with a show broadcasting from the Curtis Culwell Center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Prime Time Slot and Streaming Details

TNA Wrestling isn’t just changing channels; they are solidifying their spot on Thursday nights. The two-hour program will air from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET every week in the U.S.

For those who prefer streaming, the deal includes availability on AMC+ as well. Dan McDermott, the president of AMC Studios, noted that the network is looking to make Thursday Night Impact! a dynamic weekly event, emphasizing that TNA fits perfectly with their history of serving passionate fan bases.

A Stacked Roster

The move to AMC Network comes at a time when the TNA roster is loaded with recognizable star power. The press release highlights major names like Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy, as well as Nic Nemeth, known to WWE fans as Dolph Ziggler.

Current TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian is leading the pack, alongside top-tier talent including Steve Maclin, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, Santino Marella, Mustafa Ali, Moose, Ryan Nemeth, Elijah, Eric Young, and Tessa Blanchard.

The WWE and NXT Partnership Remains Strong

Naturally, with TNA moving to a larger network, questions arose regarding their relationship with WWE. Since January 2025, the two companies have shared a multi-year partnership that has seen in-ring talent crossover between brands.

According to reporting from PWInsider, this relationship is not going anywhere. Sources indicate that WWE and TNA are adamant that the existing partnership will continue. Furthermore, WWE was reportedly made aware of the deal with AMC Network well in advance of the announcement. The collaboration remains strong, specifically regarding the NXT brand, which was even referenced in the press release regarding the new TV deal.

It looks like 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for TNA Wrestling as they expand their audience on a major platform while maintaining their strategic alliance with WWE.
