WWE legend Sgt. Slaughter has a hot take on Logan Paul that may leave you shocked. Despite Paul playing a heel throughout his tenure in WWE, Slaughter believes the influencer-turned-wrestler will eventually become the biggest babyface in the history of the business.

Logan Paul has impressed many wrestlers and fans alike with his natural athleticism, high spots and aptitude for the business, but Paul‘s success has come from leaning into the crowd’s real-life disdain for him. That disdain developed through years of controversial antics such as filming a suicide victim in Japan, allegedly scamming fans with crypto and NFT projects and his general bratty YouTube persona.

Despite all this, Sgt. Slaughter still believes Paul can become a bigger babyface than John Cena and even Hulk Hogan.

“Once he establishes himself as the biggest villain, he’ll be the biggest hero of all time,” Slaughter told SportsKeeda Wrestling. “I think he’ll surpass every hero we’ve ever had in this business, because once the people believe in him like they did me at the alley fight… when they threw in the towel, Ernie Roth, people were like, ‘Wait, Sarge ain’t done. Although he’s bleeding to death, he’s still trying to get back in the ring and fight Pat Patterson.”

“It made Sgt. Slaughter. Everybody said, ‘That’s the toughest SOB we’ve ever seen.’ That’s what Logan Paul has to create. He has to be the biggest villain of all time and then, when the time is right, look out, because he’s going to turn into the hero and they’re going to blow the roof off.”

After interviewer Bill Apter mentioned the names Hulk Hogan and Dusty Rhodes, Slaughter said, “[Logan] will be better than all of us. I wish I could go back and be his manager or something.”
