Last night at SummerSlam, Becky Lynch not only retained her Women’s Intercontinental Championship but did so with a brand new soundtrack to her dominance.

“The Man” debuted a new entrance theme performed by the rock band The Wonder Years, a personal favorite of her husband, Seth Rollins. The new track, a departure from her iconic “Celtic Invasion” instrumental, features lyrics and a fresh, aggressive sound that reflects her current persona.

In a grueling and chaotic No Disqualification match, Lynch defended her title against a determined Lyra Valkyria. The bout was a back-and-forth affair, with both competitors using a variety of weapons to gain an advantage.

The turning point came with the interference of Bayley, who attempted to cost Lynch the match. However, her actions backfired, creating a crucial distraction that the ever-opportunistic Lynch used to her advantage, pinning Valkyria to secure the victory.

The win ensures that the Women’s Intercontinental Championship remains firmly around Lynch’s waist, as the stipulation for the match stated that Valkyria cannot challenge for the title again as long as Lynch is champion.

With a new theme song and another successful title defense at a major event, Becky Lynch continues to build her legacy as one of the most decorated superstars in WWE history.
