WWE rivals Roman Reigns and CM Punk may not see eye-to-eye on television, but they are set to become an unlikely buddy cop duo in a major upcoming Disney film. The two stars have officially landed roles in the animated sequel Zootopia 2.

They join a star-studded cast that also includes fellow WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The “Zebros” Hit the Big Screen

A behind-the-scenes clip posted by Walt Disney Animation Studios confirmed the news, showing both Reigns and Punk in the recording studio taping dialogue for their characters.

It has been revealed that the two will be portraying a pair of “Zebra Buddy Cops”. In a clip from the film, the two characters are seen referring to themselves as the “Zebros”.

A Stacked Cast

Reigns and Punk are not the only massive names joining the sequel. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is also part of the cast, voicing a character named Zeke, who is described as an “accident-prone dik-dik (a species of small antelope)”.

The wrestlers join a cast that includes returning stars Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin, as well as Idris Elba, Ke Huy Quan, Macaulay Culkin, and Brenda Song.

Following a Blockbuster Original

The first Zootopia film, which was released in 2016, was a phenomenal success both critically and commercially. The movie was named one of the top 10 films of 2016 by the American Film Institute and also won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. At the box office, the film brought in over a billion dollars.

Zootopia 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on November 26, 2025. Here’s the official plot:

In ‘Zootopia 2,’ rookie cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake (voice of Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan) arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down.
