Cody Rhodes has had a monumental year, from finishing his story at WrestleMania to become the WWE Champion to landing a major movie role. Now, his biggest victory has come outside the ring. The “American Nightmare” and his wife, Brandi Rhodes, have just announced a new addition to their family.

Cody and Brandi Rhodes Welcome Second Child

Brandi Rhodes announced on social media that she and her husband, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, have welcomed their second daughter. The couple’s new baby girl is named Leilani Ella Runnels. Brandi took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share the happy news, writing, “Welcome to the world Leilani Ella Runnels. We are in love. Thank you God for answered prayers.” She completed the post with a simple and sweet equation: “Cody + Brandi + Libby + Lani = ”

Cody also shared his excitement, retweeting his wife’s post and adding, “Three taps on the ground My Leilani. ” The WWE Champion is currently in Australia filming the Street Fighter movie, in which he is playing the role of Guile. He is expected to wrap filming in the next few weeks.

The couple’s first daughter, Liberty Iris, was born on June 18, 2021.

Did Cody Rhodes Accidentally Spill the Beans?

Fans are now looking back at a recent appearance Cody made on Bill Simmons’ Podcast and wondering if he inadvertently revealed the pregnancy news weeks ago. During the interview, Simmons asked Cody how many children he had, to which he replied, “two.” He quickly corrected himself, saying “one,” and adding, “I don’t know why I said that.”
